the weight is not meant to be challenging for the squat but is more challenging for the overhead press. the weights for both exercises are less than you would normally use for sets of 10-20 reps because the rest period is so short. the challenge comes more from doing the total volume (multiple sets with low rest) rather than a challenging weight from the start.</description>
