    for bodybuilding purpose you need moderate to heavy, but not too heavy. Think of a weight that you muscle fail with good form around 9 to 12 reps. Also try to keep the muscle under tension for 40 to 70 seconds. Example: if you are going to use 12 reps and keep the muscle under tension for 60 sec.
    Take 4 sec in the neg phase of the movement and 1 sec in the postive phase of the movement. Muscle growth happens when you tear muscle fiber. That happens in the neg phase of the movement.

    True, eat right and exercise and you’ll see results. If it was that easy everybody would be in shape. True most people are lazy but the fitness industry is like the medical field you must constantly study to understand the human body. To this date we still have alot to learn on how it works. I agree with “mrbtardation” I have tried HIIT and it works 100% all the time with my clients. The problem is finding people that have the will to see it through.
    And yes there are experts in fitness.

    cardiovascular training may not be as important as good dieting for burning fat, but even still its imperative that you do it if you really want to be cut.

    You can find ALL these workouts in Menshealth, Muscle&fitness and Bodybuilding magazines. I get the feeling he’s directly taking these from the mags an trying to make it look like his own thing. This is pretty basic stuff an great for a beginner to start out with. Again, nice work with the journey.

    everyone thinks they’re an expert in fitness and they know the perfect way to lose fat and gain muscle. It’s really not as complicated as people think.

    Eat right, and do some cardio and some weights. no two people are alike and no one program is best for everyone. Eat right and exercise and you’ll see results.

    I would like to know what your body fat percentage is. you stated, “sprint as long as you can” that will more than likely cause a catabolic state to muscle glycogen. obviously, you don’t know the proper technique for using HIIT. HIIT works for certain people. It doesn’t necessarily work for everyone. Everyone has their way of getting shredded while maintaining muscle mass. There are hundreds of methods you can use from TKD, CKD to LISS, resistance training , HIIT to increase rate of ketosis.

    No it’s actually proven with statistical research that interval training is better. The amount of fat burnt in the excercise is irrelevant as the body is going to use fat to recover you from the shock hours after the actual run. HIIT also dramatically improves your Vo2max which allows even higher intensity…

    Have you even ever done HIIT?

    Low intensity cardio has its uses too. Interval training might be to harsh to some people.

    wrong! you sprint for that long and don’t allow oxygen to get to your muscles, your body WILL use glycogen stores from your muscles, not adipose tissue. for ketosis, you want to either rest to recover or go at a lower intensity.

    And sprint workout fucking blows the far from your body btw. Do this if you are serious about burning fat:

    Go dor a run as the first thing in the morning. Sprint as long as you can until you feel like fucking dying. Then walk until you can sprint again. Do this as many times as you can and come back in two days.

    This confuses your metabolism and increases your rate of fat burn for the whole day.
