Reviews of Colon Cleansers - ColoPure
ColoPure, like many colon cleansers on the market, is an decent product that’s produced by a less that decent company (as evidenced by their business practices outlined below). This review will look at the ingredients in ColoPure to give you an idea of it’s effectiveness and then focus on the company that’s behind ColoPure to see if they are one worth doing business with.
I had a sense of deja vu when I started the ColoPure review. Their website looked very familiar. Well it was. It turns out that the ColoPure website is exactly like the website for Colotox. They’ve simply changed the names and pictures of the product and a few colors and that’s about it. So apparently the same company is running both Colotox and ColoPure. I think reflects a little one the company’s practices for not even taking the time to design a different website.
Here’s another big foul on the companies part. They didn’t even change the testimonials on the website. They both have the same pictures of people and the same exact testimonial phrases. Sorry guys, but you’re caught. If there was any reason for us to believe that the testimonials were real before, there certainly isn’t anymore! Things aren’t looking so good for ColoPure (or Colotox for that matter) so far.
Are the products even different? If you’re talking about ingredients, no. The ingredients are exactly the same in both products. I’m sure they’re even made at the same place at the same time. One bottle goes to get a Colotox label put on, while the next gets wrapped in a ColoPure label. I will say that the ingredients are fine (high in fiber), and should be relatively effective.
So the website, the testimonials, and the ingredients are all the same. Anything else? Well, they also both have the same autoship scam system in place. If you order your free trial, you are automatically enrolled in the autoship and will start receiving more shipments and getting your credit card charged every month unless you call and cancel within 14 days. It has been reported, however, that consumers have had a very hard time getting the company to actually cancel the autoship.
But ColoPure has a money back guarantee right? Yes, technically. Although it isn’t much of one. They have a 14 day money back guarantee (even though they suggest that you take ColoPure for 3 months to see it’s effectiveness). And if you are able to return your product, they still charge you a 15% restocking fee for all merchandise.
As one might expect, the BBB gave the company an F rating. This rating is based mostly on the complaints against the company for not cancelling the autoship, not refunding money, or deceptive marketing with their autoship. I think you’d be better off buying from a company with a much better rating.
To wrap up this review, ColoPure is not something that I would recommend to people. Not because the product itself isn’t good, but rather because the company has such a tainted history. Their shady autoship and non-customer friendly practices makes me give this colon cleanser a big thumbs down.
